01About Zeitly

Zeitly is a time-exchange marketplace that allows users to offer and receive services using time credits. One time credit equals one hour of service. Zeitly is operated from St. Gallen, Switzerland.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zeitly mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zeitly. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

03Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Keep your profile information up to date
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Not share your account with any other person

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

04Time Credits

Zeitly operates on a time credit system. New users receive 5 time credits upon joining. Credits are earned by providing services and spent by receiving them.

• Time credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
• Credits are non-transferable except through completed service exchanges on the platform
• We reserve the right to adjust credit balances in cases of fraud, abuse, or dispute resolution
• Credits may expire if your account is inactive for more than 12 consecutive months

05Services and Exchanges

Zeitly facilitates connections between users who wish to exchange services. We are not a party to any exchange between users and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any service offered or received through the platform.

You agree not to offer or request services that are:

• Illegal under Swiss law or the law of your jurisdiction
• Dangerous, harmful, or abusive to any person
• Sexual in nature
• Related to regulated professions without holding the required licence (e.g. medical advice, legal counsel)
• Misleading or misrepresented in any material way

06User Conduct

You agree to treat all other users with respect and professionalism. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate any other user
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Attempt to circumvent the platform by arranging exchanges outside of Zeitly
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose beyond personal time exchange
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the Service

07Reviews and Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Zeitly (messages, reviews, service descriptions, photos). By submitting content, you grant Zeitly a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider harmful to the community.

08Disputes Between Users

If a dispute arises between users regarding an exchange, Zeitly may, at its discretion, assist in mediation but is under no obligation to do so. Zeitly's decision in any dispute is final with respect to credit adjustments on the platform.

Zeitly is not liable for any loss arising from a dispute between users, including loss of time, money, or opportunity.

09Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Swiss law, Zeitly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed CHF 100.

10Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app. Upon deletion, your profile and content will be removed from public view. Residual data may be retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, except where retention is required by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

11Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
